Are you Eligible?

Pell: A Federal Pell Grant, unlike a loan, does not have to be repaid.  Federal Pell Grants usually are awarded only to undergraduate students who display exceptional financial need and have not earned a bachelor's, graduate, or professional degree.

Tap: State Grant. You must be a New York State Resident and registered for 12 credits or more to be eligible.

* The need is calculated by using the following formula: EFC – COA (cost of attendance = Need)

Loans Available:

Subsidized loan – Need based, you do not pay interest or principal back until 6 months after graduation.

Unsubsidized loan – Not need based, you start paying interest back 60 days after the second disbursement.

Parent Loan – Federal loans that parents of dependent undergraduate students can use to help pay for college.  Up to cost of attendance.
