Cochran School of Nursing Food Pantry in partnership with Feeding Westchester
The food pantry was launched to tackle food insecurity in partnership with Feeding Westchester. In the United States two- and four-year colleges are more likely to experience substantial food insecurity as opposed to the general population. The Cochran School of Nursing food pantry allows students to experience an inviting, inclusive, and safe environment to access the nutritional resources needed to succeed. Students that experience food insecurities are likely to have lower GPAs amongst other challenges. We are receiving bi-monthly deliveries which students can access within our student services offices. We are committed to being a secure and complementary food source to the Cochran community and beyond.
